TSSEA Maximum Tow Rates (Tow Operator – TO-184-770-087 / Storage Operator – VS-184-770-087)

These are the maximum rates that A.M-P.M Towing & Recovery Inc is permitted to charge you under the Towing and Storage Safety and Enforcement Act (TSSEA). These are not necessarily the rates that you would be charged for your services, and we ask that you request clarification from your driver and/or dispatcher. These fees apply to the company and not specific locations of operation. |
Basic Towing: Includes all activities, except recovery services, which are required to tow vehicles. The basic tow charge listed includes attending to the service location, preparatory work, hookup, and 10 KM under tow. This service includes both flatbed and dollies.

Recovery Towing: Recovery Service involves the use of specialized trucks and equipment , including the use of extraction devices, winches and skilled personnel, that are required to relocate or reposition a motor vehicle to prepare it for towing. Billing time starts at the time of dispatch and ends when the job is complete, including stand-by time, but does not include the basic towing service.

Storage: Vehicle storage rates are based upon a daily rate. Charges for the first day are prorated on an hourly basis, with each subsequent day charged at a full daily rate. An after-hours access fee is applicable to any access or release required outside of the normal compound operational hours and is based upon a per occurrence basis.
